Kayaking on Iori River

12 km · Class I–II · 150 GEL/person

~1.5 hours from Tbilisi · Kakheti Region

Location & Overview

The Iori River winds through the Kakheti region of eastern Georgia, about an hour and a half from Tbilisi. The calm, clear waters make it the ideal setting for beginners and those looking for a more relaxed paddle through unspoiled Georgian countryside.

You'll paddle 12 km downstream in individual kayaks, with a guide leading the group throughout. No prior experience is required — a full briefing and practice session on flat water takes place before you set off.
